Odun Iya in America 2022

Every year Ogboni Aborigine Fraternity celebrates Mother Earth in our annual Odun Iya Festival at our International headquarters in Imesi-Ile, Sun State, Nigeria. This year, members in America were honored to take part in the festivities and host a simultaneous festival in reverence to Onile here at our headquarters in Oxford, GA, USA. The three day celebration consisted of worship, fellowship, ritual, and above all, paying homage and appreciation to our mother, Iya Onile and our Orishas.

Tradition

Onile is known to many as Mother Earth, but to us she is known as the one who sends all of our prayers to Olodumare among many other majesty duties.
